Default 11' dodge hemi vs GMC 6.2

I've been planning to buy a used truck for quite some time now but have decided to go new I believe.

I have it narrowed down to 2 trucks both crew cab
2011 dodge hemi sport 4x4
2011 GMC 6.2 all terrain package

My question is which truck is going to perform better stock vs stock or modded? I will be adding a supercharger probably around the 10k mile mark. I've always owned a GM truck for my DD. The new dodges are nice and I like the painted grill, bumpers and door handles on the dodge. They also come with 20'' wheels (chrome plastic covers). Are the 18'' all terrain wheels like that?

There is a far greater aftermarket for the chevy than there is the dodge. So I would assume that the chevy could be made faster for cheaper, but as far as stock for stock I don't know which is faster.

Stock for stock I guess is pretty much what I'm wondering about. I drove a 6.2 this last Saturday and wasn't real impressed but I never really got after it to much. I have a friend with a new dodge and it runs good they pull really hard especially passing someone from say 40-70mph.

Newer truck have some bad torque management, thats why they feel so weak, but get a real tune from somebody and it will wake it up, trust me.. My truck ran against a 08 VMax before tune and after tune and man was I shocked..

Completely stock for stock, i think the dodge would edge it out, 6.2 comes lacking and really needs a tune for the potential to show. And thats just talking straight race, when talking DD or towing ability brings in completely different factors..
When both modded the same, i think the 6.2 has it, but thats all opinion.
Now when talking supercharger and aftermarket later down the line, 6.2 has that hands down and would make life waaay easier later on..
just my 2cents..

here's my 6.0 vs. a 11 dodge ram Laramie 5.7L hemi. he has a magnaflow muffler, and a K&N intake.

mods in sig. runs were before the TBSS intake. He ran a 15.5 @ 88 last Jan.
and my truck cost 1/4 with the mods than what he paid for his.

He is my run with a 2010 Sivlerado crewcab 6.2 vs my 2010 bone stock HEMI

From a roll i would get him but he claimed he wasnt good at manual shifting so i told him to lets race like some old *** men and do a DIG run both truck left in DRIVE and just punch it and he would jump out 1/2 truck and then once i hit second gear i would pull about 1 1/2 trucks up to 100 mph.

This is my personal experience with a 6.2L and we let the truck do all the everything except control the steering wheel.

I have a video but i have to get it from my home PC and it wont be till tomorrow but i have PROOF

Now if your going to mod the truck then i would say go with the 6.2L cause aftermarket is wayyyyyy better and the little parts we have for the 09-10 are very expensive. If your going to leave them stock and do the ususal muffler, intake then IMO and i have proof the 5.7L will take the win

hey man ur dodge def runs good, but the race that u said it was an 08 6.0, that would make it a vortec max and it would have 373s not 342s so i bet it was a 5.3 but either way nice truck.
