Default Walbro 450 stock wiring harnesses

upgrading the fuel system on my boosted 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3 and was wondering if anyone has used the stock fuel pump wiring harnesses to run a single walbro 450 and if not how are your wiring

Buy a hot wire kit and save your truck from burning to the ground. The factory wiring cannot reliably support the additional amperage/voltage draw from the larger pump. Also the hot wire kit gets hooked directly to the alternator so the fuel pump will receive whatever voltage the alternator is putting out as opposed to whatever the battery/pcm are sending to the pump

Racetronix - Hotwire / Power Upgrade
Start here, you may have to research around the site tho on exactly what people are doing for wiring upgrades on NNBS trucks

I had the 450 run by the stock fpcm on my 07. Now i used a relay off the old fpcm wiring. No hot wire here since the wirings already 10g.

yeah i just ended up wiring in a relay to the FPCM
