Default Walbro 255 direct fit

I'm in need of a pump! And decided to go with a 255 because I plan on spraying nitrous! A friend of mine told me they had a Walbro 255 that would be a direct fit for my truck

Yep, basically a direct fit with a little modification. But the nice thing is the modifications are relatively simple.

Here is a how to for installing a Walbro 255 on a return fuel system like your 02:

Magnason makes makes a kit for the 04+ return-less style fuel system 31-12-00-026

Honestly its a bit pricy considering what little they give you and how cheap the pumps are online. You really just need some zip ties, a fuel hose, and some electrical connectors.

The pump is just a Walbro 255lph GSS342 also you need the style sock posted in the kit, some are positioned with the pickup off to the side.

Notice the sock, it may work but I can't be sure. If it does work it will need lots of trimming.

I think the AEM 320lph kit from sdparts is a better deal especially since it has a little more flow

for about what I paid for my first 255 you can get the 320lph AEM E85 ( greater than 320lph in gas ) pump from SDPC and it's dimensionaly similar to the 255
