Question about stock fuel rails and FAST 90
I'm about to start an LS1 swap in my girlfriends 03 Silverado. Going from 4.8 to a cam/243 heads/FATS 90 intake LS1. I'm either going to run f body accessories OR move the idler pulley, get a 07+ truck water pump and trim the alternator bracket to make the intake fit. I searched and couldn't quite find the answer, so my question is:
1) will the stock truck injectors be able to handle this? Guessing it will make around 415rwhp or so.
2) can I use the stock truck fuel rails on the FAST 90 intake or will I have to buy aftermarket?

Stock truck injectors will not make it to that HP goal, they are very small at 24lb/hr injectors. You should look into maybe like 36-42lb/hr injectors to be safe. It won't make 415rwhp in a truck with drivetrain loss, no enough motor there.
Not familiar with the fast intake, can't comment on what rails fit.

Thanks for the input. I'll definitely look into the injectors. Don't want to run out of fuel. Those rwhp numbers were just a guess from what I've seen LS1's in cars make. Maybe someone will chime in about the fuel rails.

Lol yeah that's a lot of weight to push around. My truck is cammed, stalled, geared and tuned and it moves out nicely. Not deadly fast or anything but fun. So I'm sure hers will be much more fun with the LS1 and maybe a little spray in the future.
