Default Need injector advice please....

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find a set of 36lb, 43 PSI truck injectors? The short ones I think they're 1.9" long.
I am running a 5.3, TSP 216/220 550/550 lift truck cam, 799 heads, LS6 springs, LS7 lifters, TSP long tube 1 3/4" headers and a single 3" Dynomax exhaust and a tune from Aikman Performance in Cedar Park, TX.
Currently I have stock 21lb injectors and this thing is falling on it's face ;-)
Thanks!
Bryan

You can buy 8.1 truck injectors that are direct plug and play with your truck. They are rated at 31lb/hr and will flow plenty of fuel for those mods. A very common upgrade guys because the data is a direct swap also from a 8.1 truck tune file.

Thanks. And the 8.1 are 1.9" not 2 1/2" right?

Not sure off hand. Even if they were slightly longer all you need is 4 mini spacers of the fuel rail bolts and it works just fine.

I found 2010-2013 6.0 flex fuel injectors to be more cost effective (part number 12613412). Combined with connector pigtails to adapt the connector, if necessary. These are 50 lbs/hr at 58 psi and data is readily available from stock tunes. They are 1.9" long.

Some of the problems people do run into is converting GEN 4 data into a GEN 3 computer that uses different values.

I've found the attached spreadsheet useful for converting data.

For those particular 50 lb/hr injectors (12613412) I found the conversion tune file in the Injector sticky over at ls1tech. I also run these flex injectors.
