nbs return style rails with reg

I got a set of fuel rails from an earlier year 6.0 with the intake. WAnt to run a retur style on my lm7 turbo build. How do I hook up a regulator to the rails? Wouldnit go to the regulator on the return line? Also is the little plug in the side that plugs into the intake the regulator? What controls the fuel pressure if so? I was going to use my stock feed as the return and run a -6 to these stock feed side then reg after rails back to tank? Do they make fitting to go from 3/8 and 5/16 to pushlock?

Nobody has used earlier year return rails with an fuel pressure reg or the one that comes on the rails is sufficent enough for 700hp? It’s the small one that connects to the manifold a little hose

Seems like some guys have okay luck with the factory regulator, others it can't seem to keep fuel pressure in check once you put too big a pump behind it. They make adaptors to go from the gm fitting to an lines so you can build a setup that uses stock feed and the excess fuel goes through a regulator and back into the factory return.

Yea I’m aware of how it works I was just wondering if I can make an after market regulator work on the stock rails. Would I have to just by pass that stock regulator or do I just hook up the reg in the return line in the rail and then back to the tank via stock feed line? Can I run the stock reg and then say an aeromotive one after it then return line?

Someone makes a plug to eliminate the stock regulator, then you add a regulator into your new return.

Dang if only I knew who made that plug lol

Not sure if the one's from Lingenfelter for the corvette rail would fit the trucks.

what an fitting is equivalent to our 3/8” feed line? I need an adapter to get the stock feed line to -6an so I can hook it up to the return in the reg. I will run a new -8 mine for feed. Should be plenty for my single turbo and walboro 450 for 650hp
