Default Loud fuel injectors

I recently installed some of the new ID1050x injectors and I have since noticed a very pronounced/loud clicking or ticking noise! Not sure if it’s the injectors or not, but sounds almost identical to valvetrain noise? I’m pretty sure it’s the it’s the injectors, but just curious if many other trucks running larger injectors have a loud noise like I’m having?

That is common, and you can use a stethoscope to verify. My stock flex fuel injectors are loud as well

Fuel injector noise can be heard more clearly when headers are installed as well. I thought it was vakvetrain noise but it wasn’t. Just the injectors

That just doesn't make sense, unless installing headers requires the removal of the engine cover. Can you give us any further explanation?

I just think he's referring to how thin long-tubes translate lots of sound you didn't hear before with cast iron manifolds. I've never noticed this, but then again I don't have long tubes.

Yes, they do amplify sounds. But in my opinion it borders on ridiculous to say that the injector sound is being transmitted through, or even slightly affected by the headers.

The original mani folds are cast this much thicker and muffle the ticking sound of the valvtrain and injectors. When headers are installed the thinner walls allow the sound to be more clearly heard especially in the drivers side kick panel. I contacted JBA about it as I thought there was something wrong but it’s normal, my tuner said eh same thing, it’s normal with header install. So maybe I was not entirely corr ct about it’s just the injectors as other valavtrian noise is heard as well. But ridiculous..... ridiculous is people eating tide pods and snorting condoms and then trying be experts on gun control all in the same week.

well ive heard that valvtrain noise is more pronounced after header installs... I know that my ID1050x injectors are really loud! After installing them there is a really noticeable ticking sound, almost like bad valvetrain noise! You wouldn’t think injectors would be that loud but they are. I have a friend that I put some long tubes on his 2008 CC Denali and the valvetrain noise was so loud after that he had me take them back off two weeks later. He just couldn’t deal with the noise, and you could even hear it inside the cab of the truck.
