L92 in a 03 GMC RCSB Regency, cheapest way to make intake return style?!
Need some help guys, is there any tricks out there to make a return style rail fit the L92 returnless intakes? I've been working on a friends 4.8/NV3500 to L92/T56 swap for a while now.... the truck is return style and the L92 intake/rails are returnless just wondering if anyone has fit older fuel rails on the L92 intakes?? I know i can do a gas tank/fuel line swap, add a corvette FF or add an external return regulator but just trying to save this guy some money Thanks in advance for the help!

I took a look at a spare 03 Return Style Fuel Rail I have. I have never seen it done but perhaps the pipe that runs over the intake could be cut/modified/brazed to make it work. If the rail height is not right... maybe some slight mods there. If you guys come up with something post some pics

You don't necessarily need to change the rails. Get a Corvette fuel filter (pre-99 I believe) that has the return built in to it plug it in the fuel lines under the hood and the outlet directly into the rail and you're good to go. It even has a ground strap to ground it to the block. Worked great for me (00 RCSB L92/6L80E conversion).
