Gmt900 Fuel Pump upgrade Questions/Advice

I installed the Aeromotive Phantom Dual intank 450’s. Going with -8an Feed & -6an Return. And a couple other goodies. My question, to power the Main pump are you guys using the (-) trigger from factory harness that plugged into OEM fuel hanger. To trigger a relay to power the fuel pump. I have also read people using Pin #50 (fuel pump relay control) from ECU. But what/how exactly are you using Pin#50 to trigger an external relay to power the fuel pump. If anyone has any info/procedure on this. It would greatly be appreciated.

X1 Pin#51 TN Fuel Pump Relay Control - Secondary
Don't know if there is changes to be made, before using this as a trigger, but with key on the Pin #50 has (+) power then goes away. It's a little hard to do troubleshooting, because engine is currently out and i dropped the tank to install the Aeromotive Phantom intank setup.
