Fuel system question?
So i have a 2003 chevy 5.3 LM7 engine non flex fuel and im adding a 450LPH pump with 95lbs injectors and planning on going e85 will i need to swap out the fuel filter or will a stock fuel filter run with e85?
Replacing the fuel filter for a new one but want to know if oem fuel filter is ok for e85 |
Wix filters are E85 safe. I even went on to the wix filter website to double check. The flex fuel engines call for a different filter part number than a non flex fuel.
I believe napa would have a wix filter. Just know that with that large of fuel pump you should get an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator so you can keep fuel pressure steady at 58psi. |
I fixed my previous post, I miss typed part of it.

Injectors all work the same for the most part they are essential just a solenoid. One wire is hot the other is grounded by the Ecu typically. I would just wire up the plugs the same way the old ones were left wire left side of plug, right to right.
