Fuel System Major Issues - HELP!

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys,

Pulled my truck Friday night and finally got the truck working good. Revved out to 6,500+ RPM and sat around 13:1 A/F Ratio going down the track for about 100'. All of a sudden, truck felt sluggish and dropped RPM, went 19:1 Lean, and quit, and won't start. Gonna do compression test and check plugs tonight finally. Truck appears to have rail pressure and then all of a sudden just lose rail pressure and fuel pressure. Pump is good though, Airtex E8248, and is working. Has anyone experienced a problem like this and is the FPR something that could cause an issue like this. Or voltage drop? I am going to include a copy of the log in this post for anyone who is interested to see.

Thanks in advance guys,

Matt

Have you put a gauge on the rail to see if it holds pressure? Sounds like the hose in the pump bucket came off (or has a huge leak) due to the sudden way it failed. Did you use submersible hose and clamp it?

I used a marine style fuel tank mounted in the box of the truck, will check and confirm status of fuel pickup tonight, although I believe I checked and it was fine previously. I will be mounting a gauge on the rail tonight to inspect and see if I have rail pressure. Pump is running but possibly something wrong with pickup?
