Ok, help me understand the whole deal with wiring pig tail that comes with the high volume pumps. To me at first it didn't make sense why would I splice a perfectly good plug that would fit directly into new larger fuel pump rt? 2nd I was thinking who would want to have spliced or altered wiring submerged in fuel? "Yes I do observe that its a larger gauge wire".You know now where I'm going with this, so with that said what would be the outcome of this mistake?
First give me the low down on this then feel free to throw knifes at me.

they make one fuel pump that fits multiple vehicles.

if they made one for each app they would be a lot more expensive.
