Default fuel buckets

I know there are differences between the years. ??99-03, 04-06, 07+?? Are there differences inside those years? For cab and bed configurations, 1500, 2500, 3500, etc.

I have an 04 2500hd regular cab long bed. I want to get a bucket/module to modify and then swap in.

Thanks for the info.

The years won't line up exactly, but within the same style they are the same.

The differences come in float wire configuration.

The larger the tank - typically - the longer the float wire.

99-03 was a completely different module from the 04+ design. The tank opening for a 99-03 module is about half the size of a 04+ module.

What are you planning to modify on a stock bucket?

What are you trying to accomplish? supercharger? turbo? nitrous?

TI Automotive / Walbro's parent company has released some drop in units for the GMT900 trucks that contain the 450 pumps and come with the level sender assembly.

Interesting. And expensive. If I were to replace the stock pump with the 450 and hotwired, can the regulator handle it?

Quality components are seldom cheap.

To answer your question it's not likely that the stock regulator will handle the extra flow.
