Default E 85 switch

My truck is a 2008 4.8 tuned fbo cam single cab silverado currently tuned with 93 octane fuel. I want to jump over to E 85 but my truck isn’t flex fuel.
What do I need to be properly tuned ready for E85?
I have heard that all I need is bigger fuel injectors and maybe a different fuel pump, any info would be greatly appreciate any help!!

If it's the stock pump, a larger pump is a pretty good idea.

I highly suggest you purchase a real flex fuel sensor and pigtail so you can wire it into the computer. I'd have to see the tune file but if you have a flex fuel section in the calibration you should be able to switch it from none to sensor so it works.

How big your current injectors are will depend on whether you need larger ones. Figure they need to be 30% larger because of the requirement of E85. I'd say 38lb/hr or larger because stock 5.3 FF injectors are about 38lb/hr.
