so I have been running a bosch 044 pump and have decided to install a aeeromotive 340 instead. I need to know whether i need a center inlet or offset inlet pump. it is going in my 03 sierra ecsb. i searched but didnt find anything.

I bought the center inlet because my bucket is already modded for one with my current walbro.

ALSO ***** 340 Aeromotive Guys!!!!!!*************

Your going to want / need to upgrade your wiring to the the pump as well as the connector/ harness on the sending unit. This pump draws some juice and will melt the connector on the sending unit and the factory power wire is inadeqate according to Lonnie @ lonnies performance, he can hook you up with the hot wire kit and connectors you need to prevent a problem, i have these items enroute.

That connector and harness kit come with the Racetronix Hot-Wire kit, which can also be purchased directly from Racetronix. Did Lonnie make it sound like he was adding those items to the kit? Just wondering.

No bud, i mean the intank harness and factory " bulkhead" connector on the sending unit. Lonnie said it needs upgraded as it will melt with increased voltage.

This is where i hate trying to communicate by words, just making sure we are talking the same thing and understanding each other correctly LOL.

Am i right and understanding you correctly Roger? :confused:

I think AK is saying that these parts are also included in the racetronix kit.

Yes, I'm just trying to point out that the bulkhead connector comes with the kit from Racetronix, along with a 10 ga harness from the connector to the pump inside the tank.
