2000 RCSB fuel system suggestions needed

I'm getting ready to start a single turbo project on a recently acquired 2000 silverado and would like some input on fuel system options. Should be a relatively simple build compared to others I've seen here, sbe 5.3, VS7875, sloppy stage 2 cam, PAC springs, 80e, definitely plan on running E85... From what I've read the fuel tank and bucket assembly for the early NBS trucks makes it difficult or impossible to get twin pumps in-tank, is that correct? I'd rather no have to listen to an external pump, what options do I have aside from a cell in the bed? Is there a different tank that can bus used, one that will accommodate 2 pumps? Is there a cell that mounts in the factory tank position? Any input would be appreciated.

I am having luck with my homemade surge tank. It is not a simple installation to add a surge tank, but it is effective. The pumps only run in boost, and even when i make them come on manually, they are very quiet.

I have seen this type of set up work successfully in a daily driven truck in the past. Had a fabricated aluminum tank with twin 450's. Stock pump fed the surge tank. I bit the bullet and bought a nice Radium cell with surge bucket.

It sure looks like installing a tank from an 05 - 07 truck would make twin pump installation a whole lot easier. I can't find any info on swapping a newer tank into a NBS truck. Help....?

Check my thread, running twin 450s in a fuel cell with an 04-07 sending unit.
