Just another fun night on our local (lame and short) 1/8th mile track.
8.7 ET, 82mph, 2.0 60 foot
A better track, tires and weight reduction would have help alot!-lol

Keep us updated on how it does!

I ran 14.07 @ 97mph on motor in my '07 double cab sport 2wd & mods were cat delete (all) and DI/DO vortex muffler. It went 13.3@105 mph on 100shot but it would pop rev limiter in all 4 gears down the track :-(

I ended up selling it due to no tuning available for it! But lately have been looking at them again or the new F-150.

I plan to go to the Las Vegas Speedway test n tune on April 19, I'm finally going to see what she does on the 1/4 mile. I'll have some 31.5" MH Drag Slicks by then...
The VB shift kit works well, giving Faster and Firmer shifts. I dont have an over reving issue, but others have with a non modified VB..

How's that Turbo holding up? Qtr mile times yet?

I'm considering the TRD SC (because of warranty purposes). Been lurking on the Tundra boards, and msg'd a few of the SC'd & Turbo'd owners. May hold off on the Tundra until I'm satisfied with my Impala though.

Turbo is running great.. If you can afford the TRD S/C and professional install, then go with that. Be warned that once you buy a S/C, you won't get any extra value for it if you trade it in, you'd have to go with a private sale. To try to remove it and ever sell it means more a lot work and you would need a new $1000 ECU to retune back to stock to.
I went with the Turbo because it was different, a Bolt on, I can easily remove and sell it if I wanted, it was cheaper, I didn't have any warrantee on my Tundra to worry about to violate and most important...I also beat 3 TRD S/C CM! ..-lol... I'm still tinkering away to boost it up. Its just my Toy/Family hauler and not my DD..

Is this a flex fuel ecu? How do you avoid lean spot on tip in if so? Seems like most flexfuel tundra's end up having to go standalone.
