Default Lowering My Nissan Titan- CJDRacing

Hey all,
Not seeing too much love from the Foreign Performance side of this forum so i thought i'd liven things up with a review of my new drop spindles and heimed Tierods from CJDRacing. (Maybe i'll make a build thread one day) Now when i say i'm lowering my Titan this isn't in the normal 3/5 kit ect. I'm lowering the front the right way (drop spindles, Adjustable coilovers ect) and once built i will start on the rear end (linked/ slightly dropped for improved traction/ performance.... atleast one day haha).

Here's my review that I posted on Titantalk.com:

I've been slowely Modding my Titan and i finally took the dive to get some Drop spindles built when the opportunity came. My original setup was Bilstein 4600's with Belltech drop coils. This lead to a good amount of camber but worse was the fact I rode on my bumpstops. Makes for a very bone jarring ride when hitting bumps or potholes. While sitting on the bumpstops as you can see below my ride height was 32 3/4" at mid fender. (Literally lowest you can go un-modified). Got a pair of Stock 2wd coils shipped out via Evil-Titan (thanks again man) and threw those on in preparation for the spindles. Moving me back to stock height of 35" at mid fender.

From there we installed the drop spindles and you can see how gorgeous they are. All the little odds and ends thought of. Install was very straight forward and I think Michael Deardorff and I were mutually happy on an in shop install for the first go around. You can see my stock tierods in the pictures versus the heimed tierods, Much beefier. Once we had everything installed the truck sat at almost exactly 32". 3" of drop!

My future plans are to have some Coilovers installed hopefully by next month with camber bolts to fix the few degrees of camber. I'll be adjusting the ride an inch higher till i can find rims that will tuck under the fenders under full compression. A beefier sway bar to really dial in the ride as responsive as i can get, also will be upgrading to the 08+ Brakes using the entire 08+ hub assembly in these spindles.

To those who will be converting from stock height to these you won't see any change in your ride. To those who have drop coils it will be night and day. No more banging on the bump stops. To those with a large offset rim like myself you will rub on the fenders under compression.

Well... Tough crowd ha. Coilovers will hopefully be in any day now. can't wait to adjust Lift and Drop. Coils are #700 to stiffen up the ride a little and improve handling.

I like custom stuff. Its nice to see something different but unfortunatley thats too much work and money for me as im pretty sure its expensive.

Yeah they were a pretty penny at about a grand but the aftermarket support for Titans is very small so i jumped on them. The heimed steering really tightened things up, just waiting on Coilovers and camber bolts before final alignment. Going to lift it an inch or two till i get rims with a less aggressive offset that will tuck into the fenders, then all ill have to do is adjust the coilovers for more drop. Spindles alone lowered my front 3", coilovers will give me another few.

Added radlfo adjustable coilovers w/ sway-a-way hats to my CJDRacing drop spindles and heimed tierods so that I can add more drop and fine tune my ride in the future. Heavier springs (#700) to tighten the ride up a little. As you can see i can still lower my ride height quite a bit. Now to study the best combination of rim offset and tire size to go lower
