"The Titan CORR Pro-2 entry features a 715-horsepower, 5.6-liter V8 stock block engine with 510 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm, redlining at 8,200 rpm. Unlike many race engines, the block, cylinder heads, cam covers, water pump, main bearings, rod bearings, and ignition coils are all stock Titan components. The engine was prepared by Menards Engine Development." |
If I was in the market for a new truck right now, I'd definately have to look at the Nissans. I looked at them when the first came out and was impressed with them then. I like all the features the come with. (ex. spray in bedliner, toolbox built into bed, rail system in bed, even a power outlet in the bed.) Plus I believe they've got a nice strong motor, though I've never driven one.

I dont get it four cams and bolt ons cant make that much of a difference, maybe Im missing something here. If they are getting that much out of an NA 5.6 with minimal work, sign me up Ill take 3.
No one should be fooled by the use of the word "stock". That engine is a flat out purpose built race engine using modified "stock" components. |
now put a blower on it!!!
That thing is awsome N/A!! |
