Default 2 deg of timing on the titan?

I have heard that you can go down to the dealership and have them put 2 deg of timing into it. My question is what gains are people seeing from this?

You had it done already in 1 day? Did they charge you? Can you still run 87 octane with it?

Yes sir. I just bought the Titan on Tuesday. I live in Tucson AZ and I couldn't get ANY of the GM or Ford dealerships to give me a good price on a truck. I walk in with a blank check for a truck and they give me a "x" price on "Y" truck. Sad thing, their price is at least 1k over what I saw the same exact truck in the paper for or they didn't even want to go there, they wanted me to finance through them/etc.

I said screw it, contacted Nissan who then had their internet dealer contact me. I set up an appointment and took it for a test drive. I walked out with a 07 Titan XE with optional tinted windows(all of them but the windshield), bed liner, floor mats and splash guards for 21k including trading in the Z28.

I'm happy with the truck and its 9500 tow rating

Welcome to the group, nissan does a great job with giving a big motor at a lower price.
