So a dumb lady pulled out in front of me friday while i was driving my 1984 Mercedes 300D and I t boned her at 45mph. Car will probably be a total loss so I'm looking for a new DD. I want a small suv that's awd and sporty. Obviously not going to race it but I don't want to drive a slow turd. I like the escapes looks interior and feel while driving by far the most responsive one out now. Not a big ford fan but I always choose the better candidate.

What do you guys think?

It's all what you want. Escapes seem to be pretty decent. There are a ton on the road a fleet vehicles, so they're doing something right. I had a couple Tiguans in the past, and would probably buy one of those over the escape, but I'm partial to VW/Audi vehicles.
