Default muffler for 2011 5.0

New to the forum here, I hope I can help as much as getting help. I am looking for a good performing muffler. I tow a 5000lb. rv on weekends, so I need a performer as well as no killer drone in-cab. Dynomax makes a new VT series, but an internal valve seems like a problem waiting. A buddy at work said the Dynomax turbo mufflers are not too loud. I want to weld a muffler in place of the OEM muffler. I just can't seem to bring myself to spend 3-400$ on a cat back system when a muffler alone should accomplish what I need. More mods are coming, cai, programming, etc. Thanks for any opinions.

Thanks. Your truck sounds good. I like the sound of the VT, just not the idea of a spring loaded valve. After hearing the u-tube vids I probably will go with the VT.

Borla or Magnaflow. Both sound great on the new 5.0's
