a 7.3 powerstroke lightening would be cool. i hate those gutless 6.0s. at work we have the new 6.7 powerstroke in our 450's and i love how quiet and powerful they are. a srt10 would never know what hit him if you managed to stuff that in a lightening.

why did the diesel get brought into this? he is talking about the v10 6.8l Triton.


and since the diesel got brought in, stay away from the 6.7, they dont handle much hp after 500

If you really wanna rape a srt-10 in a sleeper package. Drop a 6.0 in a sonoma or s10 like I did. You can hand them their *** all day long and still get great gas mileage.

I had thoughts of doing a v-10 into a mustang about 10 years ago but it evaporated once I started looking into what it would take to make it all work.

It sucks the v-10's and the 8.1 chevy's are largely abandoned by the aftermarket. But I guess when you look at dollar input vs horsepower output the LS' go fast for cheap when compared to the above motors.
