Zr1 map sensor in 6.2 l92

I have a 13 sierra 6.2 that's about to get a big turbo and I'd like for my aeroforce interceptor gauge to be able to read boost. Does anyone know if the zr1 map is plug and play in the 6.2 manifold / harness? Searched on tech and here and couldn't find anything. Thanks guys

The connector on the truck harness is different for the 1 bar map sensor.

You can change the connector or buy the wire conversion harness that makes it plug and play.

You sure? Cuz it's the same connector? I picked it up this morning and it plugged right in.

I'd read and searched that the pigtails/connector where different on the truck harness. Maybe depends on year?

I'd still double check that the wiring is the same and make sure you don't need to swap pins around.

Considering you're the only one who even commented on this post on a forum dedicated to performance trucks, where would you suggest I search?

hp tuners site has some good info.

Pretty sure the only issue you're gonna have is the scaling. Which isn't a big deal, that a tuner can fix. I'm running a duramax sensor. Didn't have any issues with it.

Tuner already knows it's going in the truck. I'm in the middle of a turbo build and I just wanna make sure I have all my ducks in a row.

Finished my build this weekend. For those interested, the zr1 map sensor IS plug and play in the l92/l9h 6.2 truck motor.

sorry wish I could have seen this post sooner, yes half way up believe 2010 maybe 09 was the year they changed the connector and map sensor style to the same connector as the cars. And that goes for the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 and 6.2. The older trucks weather it be a 6.2 or not used the older style map that you would have to convert the connector for it to plug in to the ls9 map. Now 2012 and up I believe were the only trucks that had the Operating System stock that could run the ls9 map, just need to enable it in the tune. Mine being a 2011 I had to use my buddies tune from his 2012 and do a complete rewrite then transfer all my perimeters over for it to work.
I still can't take full advantage though of the 2.5 bar as HP Tuners I believe only has it unlocked to a 2 bar system. Max 23 lbs of boost is all it will handle and will not let you go past it without freaking out and do a fuel cut. One reason why I'm going aftermarket ECM and ditching the E38.

If you are using the newest 3.4/3.5 HP Tuners software you can make the factory tune support up to 3 bar with the VVE editor. You do lose a few features of the upgraded 2 BAR OS but you can still run a good amount of boost.

You lose boost enrichment and a couple other table by sticking with the stock OS.
