Bringing this thread back up has anyone found anything else out about it? I called and emailed whipple but I didnt get a repsonse imagine that Im thinking about amybe doing this, this summer with a head and cam swap on the 418 and would be good for 800-900 at the crank on 15psi I would think plus I love the sound of a blower

 

I think whipple is having problems getting superchargers right now, something about them not paying bills, just what I've heard at the scuttlebutt anyway.

 

i thought i heard whipple was making the superchargers for the new mustangs? might be a diffent manufacture though. not 100%

 

I heard that Eaton was building their new superchargers with improved seals,bearings and gears to upgrade Lyscholm's twinscrew superchargers to OEM quality.

Yeah I saw that a week or two ago thats when I sent them an email or 5 over the last 2-3 weeks and have gotten nothing out of them. An intercooled 5L would be sweet as hell. It just might be able to push 30#s of boost into my 418. I love the sound of a supersharger SOOOOO much more than a turbo it just sounds so mean as hell

If it is possible I will be putting one of them on my truck this summer if they come out for the LS1 style motor
