new motor is goin in tonight. another 6.0. then back to tuning and maybe it will make it to the dino this time. im hoping past that lol

Then check it again in one mile, and again every 2 miles for the next 10 miles.

No, not normal at all. However, given your recent experience, it might be a good idea. Wouldn't it suck to lose another engine in 10 miles?

I'm still curious about the oil though. There were bent rods so I would think that the oil was in the combustion chamber, but where hell did it go after that?

I honestly have no clue....its kinda still blowing my mind and no one seems to know that have looked at it besides me. There was a very small trace of oil inside the throttle body when i whiped it with my finger and inside the intake...but for damn sure not three quarts....no idea where it could have went. im convinced at this point that the white film was in fact water. thats my guess. im just not sure where the hell it could have came from. and yes. i am 110 percent the oil was completely full when it was started
