wastegate and bov hookup
 
hey guys, got a kb 70mm intercooled kit i just put on my truck i was just wondering where and how you guys are hookin your wastegate and bov's up i got an idea but not real fond of it thanks!

Dont quote me on this but;

I believe the BOV line needs to go from the port on it to a vaccum port on the intake manifold.

The wastegate needs a line from the lower port to the intake as well I think.


Again dont quote me on this but im pretty sure lol. Someone else will chime in soon.

I tapped into the brake booster line for my bov and boost gauge. And I used the nipple on the rear passenger side of the manifold to boost reference the gate from the bottom port. You can also reference straight to the turbo compressor housing if you'd like.

Can the wastegate, BOV, and boost gauge all connect to a single tube coming off the manifold with a distribution block or something?

yes..Some say to hook up the gate to the compressor housing of the turbo.. either way works tho.

Any reason to do it this way? My turbo doesn't even have a port at the compressor exit like I've seen on most. It's an MP70.
