so just move on to a 8rib set up?? now this HD tensioner, does any one have a part#? i think its when im poping the gas and making the tensioner jump to much..is there any way to make it not jump as much?

Are you saying you have a 8 rib crank pulley with 6 rib acc pulleys??

yes..i have a 8rib crank pulley and the other pulleys are stock and the blower pulley is 6rib..

I am thinking that the belt is getting hung up on the outermost ribs, then walking off.. Once it starts it will keep going to you pop a belt..

wonder how much it would cost to go with the other pulleys...i bought them one time but cant remember...

A complete 8 rib system is around a grand I believe: crank, blower, tensioner, alternator, power steering...

ok update. after im driving it and not going to crazy on it.. i get home and find that the belt is off the blower pulley 2ribs and the tens.pulley aswell...i have put it back on twice and found it twice like this...does that info help?

Is your crank pulley seated on all the way? When you said its off the pulley, is it off to the front or rear?

crank is seated and pined., and its off the front of the blower pulley and the tens. pulley, its on the back groves of the crank, looks good on the crank
