Where are you located? Many times there are great tuners in your area. Good choice with Trick Performance

Cats will effect spool time. If you have a 4L60e transmission you will be having problems shortly. Best upgrade to an 4L80e when you have the chance. Throw a shift kit on it as well , injector size depends on how how much boost u plan on running, but 60's would've a safe bet.

phantom- thanks i thought so i been reading alot of reviews and i liked the price for the stage 2 kit, im not wanting no big horse power gains just a daily driver/play truck ha and i am located in south central kentucky. know any suggestions? also id like to find someone to install the kit for me,

spoolin- thanks, i wasnt sure, so if i take the cats off, what will i need to do? sorry im new to all this and just trying to get the right setup and not have no major problems, i was planning on up grading to the 4l80e soon, after i got the kit installed, what about a torque convertor? i dont want to run to much boost, i just want to be reliable, but i was told 80s would be good but im not sure?

also the truck is 4x4 so im not sure what tranny it has? i have to look
Thanks

80's are way to big of an injector for your modest goals, if you know your not gonna want more hp and will be happy @ +\- 400/500hp range you will be fine with 44# injectors and meth. 80's are for upto 1000hp and will most likely be high impedance and be hard to tune for at idle unless you get a driver box but again what would you need such big injectors for, waste of money since they will run you close to $100 each.
Converter wise, pisk something between 2400-3000 since you still plan on using this as your daily and turbos usually like smaller converters.

44# injectors and Meth? Sorry I'm new to this. What do you mean by Meth? An where would you recommend buying the injectors? And so a converter 2500 be about right? And would you know who I could get to install for me and tune it? I would like to take it to someone and say here you go lol. And someone who knows what they are doing. and do it right

1. Horesepower goal
2. Fueling requirements (pump/s,injectors)
3. A mail order tune will leave a lot on the table. Find someone local or take the truck to a reputable tuner.

I'd at a minimum use a Racetronix 255 pump if you plan on keeping it between 500-600hp. I'm not 100% sure if a 255 will be enough. I had one in my Camaro and it ran out of steam right around 600rwhp on nitrous.

As for injectors, I'd go with at least a set of 60's.

:stupid:

Ive got a 255 instaled and 60# injectors waiting and ill only be pushing 8-10psi. Hoping this combo will be safe for 12-14psi. No more then 600hp is my goal.
