Yea the small holes in the pulleys does help... But once done you can never go back unless you purchase more pulleys. Something about that blower/belt whine is just cool I think, as long as its controlled noise....LOL
2" thick,,, wow alot thicker then the older units I have seen, that sound alot like the KB ic thickness I have seen...

I am going to try and get some more info from Whipple tomorrow on some custom setup ideas. Like Mike mentioned earlier (or in another thread, i dont remember), sure would be cool of you could flip the Whipple backwards and use a jack shaft like the Maggy does.........

They have a blower drive system for marine bigblocks that runs a dedicated belt behind the water pump. It there's a way to use a 8 or 10-rib serpentine belt there to get to the supercharger - forward or backward mounted, belt slippage and crank deflection would not be things to worry about.

Brian,
Do they have a pic of that on thier site? I could not find anything about being able to turn the blower around. I sent them an Email...but we know how that goes.

Well go figure, Whipple was useless answering my questions. I dont know why I even tried. Nothing as far as a front inlet is concerned and no real ideas on making one work. So........It will most likely be a TVS moving forward.

. That should keep'er cool! Was that the 1900 or the 2300 Kyle?I know, right. It really is a shame when all you want to do is give someone your money and they wont take it. I am sure something could be worked out but I guess they have more important things to do on the marine end of things. Its all good though, i will hopefully be the first one with a TVS on an 8.1L if everything works out. Still lots to do though before i get there.

Awesome Kyle, thanks for the pics. Based on my initial measurements...it looks like I may get away with a 4" thick intercooler....
