Unless I am missing something you are going to have the cost of a custom manifold so if so why not make it worth while and do the 3.3L

I wouldnt fork over all that cash for a custom manifold to get 8psi from a TVS, dont get me wrong I really like the new TVS2300.. Just like my setup, I all ready decided if I do anything else its most likely going to be a Rear drive TVS2300 on a Forged 370. ( Reality of it is mine will go back to almost stock, and Ill get the vette I have been wanting.)

I guess a Vette is OK, it's kind of like a pickup with only having two seats, a firm ride, and room for a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

TVS flows more Air at lower boost... and with cooler IACs...

it gets my vote... the Whipple is just too damn big at 3.3L... its going to take 40-50HP just to spin the blower.

Yes, I am considering a custom intake to hold the blower. I really would like some technical expertise from Brian if he gets a chance to see this post. Hoping he can tell me what i could expect from a TVS2300 on an 8.1L. I dont plan to spin it past 5200 so i just need to know what my limits are with the TVS in that RPM range. Would it be able to put out 10psi without straining? I know the 3.3L Whipple will be enough and its true it may take a few more ponies to turn it over but a lot of guys run the 3.3L on the 4.6L stangs and lightnings so my 496 should have no problems with it. Also, i would like to know what just the TVS2300 front inlet rear drive blower would cost. No intake manifold or intercooler, just the blower. You can PM me if you dont wanna post it. I just wish maggy had a blower in the 3L range and it would be a no brainer. Ohh and Whipple now makes a W510ax blower....its 8.3L!!! LMAO!!!

Most blowers take more than 40-50hp to spin at a usable rpm, including the TVS series.

So how exactly does a blower flow MORE air at a lower PSI ???? Do you mean it is more effiecient at a lower PSI?
