While it's not the HD tensioner tha Magnacharger has available, the Gates 38131 Belt Tensioner Assembly has been determined to be slightly stronger than the original - Comes with a plastic smooth pulley. The radix supplied tensioner mounting bolt works fine. Removing the plastic sleeve from the locating pin is required. The pulley part number is: Gates 36100 Belt Tensioner Pulley. - Steel 75mm 6 Rib steel with 17mm bearing bore.
If you just need to locate something to get you going, the fitment for an replacement for the original are:
From 87-96 Ford F-Truck/E-Van 4.9L or 87-92 Bronco 4.9L
Dayco # 89222, Pulley # 89009
Napa, Gates, ACDelco # 38131
Four Seasons # 45869
Goodyear 49233

thanks....i did som digging and found an old one. This is the #1 reason I dont like other people working on my ****. the manager tried to argue with me no one was hot rodding my truck....I told him I had broken two of these and I only kow of one way to do it. The guy working on it later told me he had got on it " a little"..he said the truck got sideways on him and he got scared and let off the gas.

That's shitty. I would go blow up on the manager after he said that the truck wasn't hot rodded and tell him the guy admitted to getting it sideways. If I have to let anyone work on my truck I put the alarm in valet mode and it limits the motor to 3,000 RPM.
