Target Lambda/AFR with E85
What Lambda/AFR are you E85 guys commanding in boost?
|
My stoich is 9.706 and PE eq ratio of 1.25 all across the board.
|
.78 is what my wideband shows on Lambda
|
After the stoich value of the fuel is entered into the tune as AFR, the PCM bases all of its fueling calculations on EQ ratio. It is best to think and tune in EQ. My E-85 boosted EQ ratio is 1.22

lambda = 1/equivalence ratio
(for those that didnt know) |
I've read multiple times that E85 likes a richer mixture, so I have my EQ ratio set at 1.31 or .76 lambda. Haven't had much time to play with it, but it feels pretty good.
Has anyone spent time on a dyno adjusting their EQ ratio up/down? |
Off Topic Question. Where are you getting your E85 at Justin?
|
Only station in DE I know of is on 40 near Bear.
|
I just wasn't sure if there is another station, he's close to the PA border.
Justin, I'd like to see that thing in action. |
