Hmmn. I went to the (Won't name website so does not have to be deleted) website and checked out the install instructions and it looks simple enough that a mechanically challenged donkey like myself may be able to install it. Hmmmn. Something must be up, seems to good to be true.
I wonder if this thing is similar to the Powerdyne units, which seem to have a very lousy rep according to research I have done. But the pricepoint and apparent ease of install certainly make it look quite attractive, if it gives the advertised increase to HP.
Research shall continue, now that my dream of a built 408 has been dashed by the combination of the speed shop never getting back to me before my wife decided she wanted hardwood and the entire house painted.
You really have to act fast on these things when you have temporary spousal approval. Sigh.

Did a bit of web and performancetruck.net searching tonight and the results (when the mocking dies down of course) seem quite positive. I have an e-mail into this fellow. Could be some significant bang for the buck, especially if I can get a discount for not requiring a tune (I would prefer that my tuning wizard does his thing on the dyno).
If can into one of these for a bit over 2g (without a tune), that catches my attention.
Will keep searching. There was one fellow on this site named Dr. Mike who, as of 2005, had had one on a 6.0 for 3 years and was quite happy.
