sts and nnbs intake

In my sts instructions it says to put the 1psi solenoid and valve in between the vacuum port behind tb and pass side valve cover. The nnbs intake does not have the port behind the tb. Where do you put the 1psi on these setups? Also is there a trick to remove the pcv port on top of the intake? And what are your suggestions on a check valve and catch can being used in conjunction with a pcv valve?

The NNBS intake does have a vacuum port. With the engine cover off, look on the passenger side of the manifold about 3/4 of the way back. There is a small tab you have to snap off, but once you do it is a vacuum port.

Regarding my last post, you can see the vacuum line coming off the vacuum port to the left of the fuel rail fitting in the pic.

As for a catch can, I use a Mike Norris can I got from SDPC, a sponsor on this forum. You take the hose from the PCV at the back of the driver side valve cover into the can, then the other hose goes from the can to the top of the intake manifold.

Ok my intake is a new one and it didn't come with the pcv elbow at the top. I have been able to remove any from other intakes to go on there nor find a new one

Are you asking where the check valve goes?

And what can i do about my pcv elbow missing

This is the same setup I have, with the pp fuel rails also you can see in his picture that its also missing the pcv elbow. I tried removing one from another intake with no success.

Figured it out

Awesome NNBS intake idea. ... Pretty much my idea is to make an ALUMINUM intake tube that replaces the stock maze intake.
