Roush Tvs1900 on a 2011/12 5.3?

Does anyone know if I have to do anything special to use a Roush Tvs1900 pn a 2012 5.3? Magnacharger and Slp list their 2011/12 models with a different part number anyone know the difference with the newer models?

I'm not sure. Off the top I don't see why you can't use it. I have a Roush on 09,I wouldn't think there's any difference, but definitely do your homework.

I believe the MAP sensor is the major difference between the two various breakdown in years. There may be some other difference, but if there is I don’t know about it.

It should be easy to install , if you do have a small hiccup let us know , it will prob be a simple solution .

As long as you have cathedral port heads it will bolt right up .

Thanks for all the replies. Hey bud8fan did you have to modify anything to make the Roush work on your truck?

didnt have to modify anything but do have to drill you a hole and thread it for a boost guage if you want one...the stock fuel pump will be good enough if you have not change the stock pulley out....take it to a tuner that knows what he is doing with these new trucks or it will never run right or shift right. nelson performance did all the install and tuning just in case something was missing for the install...no hickups

Sounds good. I have a good tuner that has done several vehicles for me. My plan is to do the install take my ecu out and have my tuner put in a tune for me that will be good enough to drive the truck over to his shop and then fine tune it.

Hey bud8Fan don't you have a supercharged vette also? I thought I had seen your avitar on CF.

bud8fan 12-29-2012 05:56 AM

I just picked one of these up for my 2008. Everything is there except the "colder heat range spark plugs" Does anyone have a part number for these spark plugs?
