ring gap for LY6 with boost

I'm am getting close to assembly for my LY6, and thought I would get some input from people that have been there. I have pretty much stock everything and was wondering what I should gap the rings at. Right now they are at .026 top and .028 bottom. I will be running pump gas a majority of the time at about 15 PSI. Occasionally I will add E85 and turn the boost up to maybe the low 20's. I would like to break 900 at the ground. Does anyone that has been there before think I should be using a different gap?

Mine are setup exactly like that from my machine shop after talking to em about what i wanted to do with my 370 if that helps any.

Thank you. That's where I have them on my 370 too. The one thing I wonder about is the LY6 has a thinner top ring than my Wiseco's or even stock LQ4's. I have heard of people going less and people going more.

Ly6 makes over 1000 rwhp gap are .028 and .028

^^^ Thanks, that is the info I was looking for. I was just stumbling across your TT Notch build.

saw as high as 27psi for a short run but makes passes at 24-25 psi
20* timing 11.4 afr on E85

Wow, that's really making some power. I will more than likely stick around 14-15 degrees. My build will be very similar. I see that you did rod bolts too. If you were doing it over would you do the rod bolts again? That was about the only thing I hadn't planned on.

for 80 bucks why risk anything....

it was tuned off plugs using Br7efs

14-15 is leaving alot of power on the table if using e85 especially at lower boost levels

14-15* is a good 93 timing number

but in the end youll need to read plugs to know how much timing to push or cant push...the setup didnt use knock sensors either

Ok, I Have rod bolts on their way.

14-15 is what I was thinking on 93 @ 15 PSI and on E85 @ 22 PSI. Hopefully I can get this together soon.

Are you going to run meth with the 93 or just pure 93? I wouldn't run much more than 14-15 on 93 at 15 PSI without meth.
