Today's forcast for North Alabama High 46* Low 28*. And it is just December I HATE WINTER! And people think just because I live in al that we have beautiful weather.

Well, I still wouldn't trade the weather for the tree huggers in So-cal
So Blown, you trying to say that slugs of ice going through the intercooler pump arn't covered on the warranty?

It may require some antifreeze in the I/C loop, but God - You gotta love the way these things run in the cold weather!!!!!!!! That blower really loves the cold dense air.
I should go put this thing on a dyno - It feels like it has an extra 50 horses since the weather got cold.
No start problems, warms up quick, and runs great. Just got back from a thousand mile run from Mpls to Indiana and back - no problems!!!! Truck now has nearly 26K on the blower and GM upgraded trans and it still runs like new.

I'm with the cold weather posts. Only made it to 30 here today. Feels like another 50 ponies under the hood. The down and left coasters don't get to feel that kick in the pants.

It's been 36-45deg at night here in the Bay Area and Sacramento so us left coaster get some pretty cool temps. Any less than that and you'd have traction problems anyway. (I've lived in high altitude steppe type areas so spare me the "well it's colder where I live" stuff lol)
Sooo that being said you had better keep an eye on your AFR durring these cold spells because with the extra HP comes a need for more fuel to support it. Lost of people blow up in the summer and the winter.
