Default Procharger standard bracket vs stage 2?

Wondering what the pros and cons of a stage 2 bracket vs the traditional bracket.
I know the obvious but what about power wise, when does belt slip become present on a cam and header 5.3 with a green gates belt

The way I see it, a stage 2 set up is going to be in the 1500 range (crank pulleys add up there plus the bracket it self)
The standard bracket is in the 500 range, no other pulleys need just a hd tensioner.
Aftermarket 8 rib setup can be added later on if power goals climb to high.

Any reason I should start out with the stage 2

My main goal for now is 600hp 5.3

Because you will always want more so buying the good bracket now is gonna be cheaper in the long run.

Well, I'm hoping to build a dedicated street/strip car in the near future so hopefully the "wanting more" don't happen with the truck

The hob setup is shared drive, and the brute setup is dedicated drive. Brute speed is around 1400 all said and done from what I can gather. Should be ordering today or tomorrow I'll document the install as I can't find much about it mabey it will help some one else later on.

I've had both...I had the old 6 rib setup on my D1SC and the Stage 2 dedicated 8 rib or 12 rib setup now on my F1x. The stage 2 is more money but worth every penny. I've been testing mid throttle/low-mid boost on my setup (6-12psi) tuning and so far...no belt dust are on the brackets from the Stage 2 so far. Will be pushing it more after a few upgrades to the rear end are completed. It requires an ATI dampener like the HOB kit but you can run 8 rib or 12 rib setup as well. I'm on a 8 rib per the suggestion of Procharger but would probably do the 12 rib for extra insurance again slipping. I have a 4.38 pulley on the F1x and will be track testing it soon. Hopefully around 20-24 psi.
