old skool magnuson question
I did a quick search first but no results really answered.
I'm going to install a used magnuson M-90 non intercooled charger on a friends truck. He picked it up used with all the parts less a fuel pump. The question is did magnuson supply a fuel pump with these kits in the first place or does the stocker suffice. Looks like magnuson pulled the instructions off thier site, don't blame them too old. Anyone know? Tony |
they ran those without a fuel pump. dont try to pulley it down either, that is a flame thrower at those high rpms.

Thanks for the quick response.
He knows the limits of the blower, he bought it cheap, what more can I say? What was the stock pulley size they came with, just want to ensure that it's correct. Tony |
what motor does he have? What pulley is on the blower now?
|
if its a 5.7 vortec then no it doesnt have a pump
|
Yea, the 96-99 truck kits where a mp90 and it didn't come with a pump.

Whoops, thought I posted the engine size. Anyway the truck is a 2000 if memory serves, has a 5.3 I'll have to take a look at the blower and see what pulley it has. I doubt the previous owner changed it, but you never know. Tony |
