Default new to superchargers need advice

Hey guy it's been a long time since I posted something but I just bought a new truck and want some advice.

2006 sierra rcsb 5.3 automatic 2wd 100k miles

the previous owner put a Joe Gibbs supercharger on it with kooks 1 7/8 long tubes no cats
true dual with cutouts 3inch all the way.

Built transmission 4l60e stock size stall stock 3.42s stock cam

truck put down 365 rwhp at the dyno at 4lbs of boost

My questions,
I have a lq4 short block with 2 set of heads 317s & 243s .
I will be swapping the 5.3 for the lq4 would like to know which heads to go with?

also like to do a cam swap what do you guys recommend?

would like to go with a bigger stall converter what do you guys recommend?

what size pulley do you guys recommend for 10-12 lbs of boost it has a 3.9 on now

gears 3.73 or 4.10?

This will not be a daily driver it will be use for street and strip
my goal is over 550rwhp horsepower or deep 11s

thanks for the help
mike

I'd save the 6.0 for a rainy day. 4# of boost is literally nothing.

What heads came on your 5.3?

Grab a 3.4# pulley and start there with a retune. Your current combo with a cam and 3.0 pulley will be viscous compared to how it runs now. Your goal of deep 11's can definitely be had with the 5.3 and 112 combo in a rcsb

A radix 112 will not make 12 psi on a cammed 6.0.

That too... at some point the displacement of the engine gets you almost nothing and the blower is the limiting factor.

Last I heard/read with the smallest pulley available - around 7-8psi - that's why they made the mp122 for bigger cubes, before the TVS style

Others correct me if I'm wrong but that's all I can remember it's been a while since I've looked into it all.

Yea the MP112 is a better unit than the M112 is. I don't remember the specifics either.

Stick with the 5.3 for now and have some fun with it!!

throw a 2.9 pulley or a 3.0 with a boost cam and it will be a different beast. A 3.0 Pulley will net you around 7-8 pounds
