need more boost

I have put a vortech supercharger on my 2002 pickup 6.0L, around 6.5 psi and I would like to push around 10 psi, what needs done to the engine to handle this, the engine is stock with dual exhaust.

Is yours the intercooled Vortech?

I ran 10 psi with the procharger all day long, although with centri. you only see 10 psi at the very top. you should be fine just pullying down. You may want to have tune done and 42lb. injectors if you haven't already done so.

Not intercooled

Get an intercooler before you up the boost. More boost is more heat and a higher risk of detonation.

ASK ME HOW I KNOW

Thanks guys, do you think I can put 4 more psi to it with that because I should lose about 2 psi into pushing it threw the intercooler right.

put an intercooler on, its not that hard to fab one up and relatively cheap.
