Default Need input on this custom cam for turbo

I'm looking at a custom cam for my race truck. I'm putting together a 6.0 with 317 heads and a bw s480 turbo. It will be a race only motor, no street use at all. The truck weighs 3400 with me in it. The cam specs are: .242/.242 duration and .590/.590 lift and 114 lsa. I already have 2003 ls6 cam, but I can't help but wonder if this one will be better for all out racing. I know this has a LOT of duration, but is it too much? Your responses are appreciated.

I'm going to be running about 25* less duration in my 6.0L/317 headed 3400lb nova.

Thanks for the reply. I've been reading where you're really fond of the Isky 212 cam. The only reason I'm considering this cam is that I can get it for about what I could sell the LS6 cam for. I don't mind the rough Idle, hell I even prefer it. But, if it won't outperform the LS6 cam substantially, I won't bite on it. Thanks for your response. I think I remember you being on the V8 Buick board a few years ago, you have a Buick too?

Yeah I think thats just to much for a turbo engine, even with the 114 the overlap will kill you to start with and it just doesnt need to keep the valve open that long to fill the cylender with boost, id vote 218 to 222 dur with a 114 or 115 lsa.
