If you plan on increasing cubes in the future it might be worth it, but otherwise you would probably be better off the the .96 a/r P trim. The best advice I could give you would be to ditch your LS1 stuff and pick up a LS6 cam and truck intake. The LS6 cam is cheap and runs awesome with turbos. Unless you are putting it in a small car the truck intake is a better option.
Youre right about the pt67.

I cant say for sure yet, but Im hoping to see full boost (7-10lbs)out of a mp70 .96a/r by 3k with my 5.3 and ecsb 4x4. Im sure it would be a little higher with more boost and turbo cam too. But as long as the power is there who cares, "turbo lag is just fourplay".

Everyone that worrys too much about turbo lag, always seems to have a thread a week later wondering how to get traction. I wouldnt worry about it too much

good point, ha ha, but this will have drags or slicks so I am hoping to not have that as an issue!

If you plan on being more of a track car with jus some fun on the street every once in a while. You can always go with a transbrake n 2step that will solve ur lag problems at the track

Ok... List ten of them. When did I ever say it was designed for boost? First thought would be that it was designed for the LS6 bro, call me shallow. People have great success with this cam, it usually puts you over the 500whp mark on a stock turbo'd 5.3, and maintains great NA drivability out of boost. Additionally, its the cheapest option for a turbo cam because its so readily available used. You should hang around the boost forums a little more, you might learn a thing or two
