Default Mpg??

What power adders are you using and what has it done to your overall mileage, I know it depends on the driving style but I'm considering putting something like Radix onto my 01HD w/6.0 to avoid having to trade it in for a diesel type truck as I feel like a turtle pulling my 8500lb 5th wheel camper?? I don't do more than 2-3 trips a year and the truck is only gettin like 5k miles/year so I don't think I can justify the much higher entry price of diesel and then also gettin in all the time can be tricky where I live as they typically have only one pump and do run out on occasion...

I pull a 8500# 5th wheel and went from 11-12 mpg to 14-14.5 mpg towing. normal driving i gained 2 mpg city and hwy. The thing about the turbo is it love a load. I had my turbo for over a year and it works great. I can pull in overdrive all the time. Going over hills and bridges it never slows down and never kicks out of overdrive.

I just got about 18.3mpg out of my last tank with an STS base kit and Nelson tune. I was getting about 15-16mpg before that with a Predator modded PCM alone. Who knows what I will get once I go to 8psi though.
