meth nozzle sizes

how do you know what size nozzle to run with your hp/boost? assuming your injectors are the correct size for your setup and your not useing meth largely for fuel.

Here are Snow's recommendations
350-475 RWHP 375mil nozzle
475-600 RWHP 625mil nozzle

This is with a 50/50 mix. From what I understand the more meth in the mix the more your octane will go up but you lose a little of the cooling effect. If you have big enough injectors to handle the fueling you will only need enough meth to add some safety.

That M15 will support quite a bit... Are you running strait meth? What fuel injectors? And how high are your shift points?

speedaddict 10-03-2008 10:30 AM

question...for meth, shouldn't the nozzles be a little further away to allow it to atomize?

na there are several turns before it even hits the intake ports

From the chart I got from STS a m15 nozzle with the small pump has a flow rate of .25 gpm or with the large pump a flow rate of .375 gpm. A US gallon is 3784 ml therefore:

small pump = 3784 x .25 = 946 mlpm
large pump = 3784 x .375 = 1419 mlpm

That would explain why 2 625 nozzles won't handle my setup. I thought the 625 and the m15 were the same. Looks like I going to have to get new injectors.
