i'm going to do a stall thinking around 3k since this is a DD so that should help with getting this truck moving, I know its not the best cam but right now it fits my budget and leaves me some $$ for the other stuff needed

this is what I plan on doing
317 heads 3 angle valve job maybe port (depends on cash)
ls6 springs or better
ls6 cam
ls9 mls gaskets
ARP head bolts
timing chain
water pump
oil pump
of course what ever other gaskets are needed

any thing else the "should" be done while the engine will at this state?

If funds allowed I would go ahead and do the ls7 lifters, they can be bought for 120-130 new. I would skip the water pump unless it's bad and dont forget a new crank balancer bolt. Also if your on a budget use the ebay studs instead of the arp bolts.

Like I said stock48's isky triple 12, if its good enough for for kyle at kb racing who builds turbo kits its good enough for me

I tried to fine that cam and didnt have any luck? you have a link or any thing?

Yeah you wont find it, its a custom grind. Go pm stock48 on here and hell hook you up. I got my valve springs from him too. Tell him your whole planned setup, he gave me input on mine
