Log manifold clearance ?

How close is your Kb racing or Trick log manifold to your a/c compressor bulkhead? I am building my own and I think I may have made my runners too long as I have about 3/8'' clearance.:hack:

Damn is that what it's called :emb: yeah thats it and I must have made my runners a little long. I'm gonna run it anway no way I'm gonna do that again any time soon. I probably have over 8 hours in it. I will put a heat shield on it and wrap the log.

How many layers of wrap you got on it? Just did mine and I also went kinda heavy. :jest:

its one run.. but a lil over 70% overlap. so its kinda thick.

Yea just wrap the log good and I would use some DEI Cool-Tape on all of the AC lines. I wrapped all of my lines and even the dryer with that stuff and it defiantly made the AC run cooler.

I went a little overboard last week re-wrapping some of my pipes. I did two sometimes three runs over certain areas overlapping %50-75 most of the time. I also used silicone spray on all the wrap when it was all said and done. I still have the actual manifolds to do but won't do that until I pull the truck apart again but did do the crossovers and DP.
Hope it helps keep the engine bay temps down more than they've been.
