I will try and find out tonight. And yes, I'm sure most of it was b/c of being way more efficient. Also, the bigger tb KB offers helped as well.

Before I actually can find it, if i remember correctly, the guys with the 2.8 were seeing IAT's upwards of 200 and then swapped to the 3.6LC and during a road trip in the mountains it averaged 155-160

seems like thats even high . maybe they need alot more intercooler. they are no longer made for lsx trucks so the ones who have them will have the smaller manifold intercoolers. seems like a larger intercooler may be a better solution while keeping or going to a larger blower.

Hey Pat, What brand of 72 pounders did you use and were they compatable with the stock harness.

Im in the process of converting to an AW IC. The frozen boost one arrived this week and today I was looking at locating the Heat Exchanger behind the grille. So in the end it will be A/W blower and discharge if all works well. There are going to be some challenges mounting the intercooler.

I have built an off manifold kit which is very friendly for a blower swap so I just need to get the the intercooled air pump from KB.

I have the Seimens LS1 style injector, and no they are not a direct plug in to the stock harness. There are some that are now available that are though. Someone on here sells them. I dont know who. Also if you are in need of one I have a brand new intercooler pump wire harness that I could sell.

Fuel injector connection opens up the plug and play 44lb. marine injectors which i believe puts them at 72's.
