interchiller

Basically everyone that overspins the lsa blower uses these. I have debated this topic on other forums, i think in real track day use like road course not very effective.
if you are willing to gamble that our humidity wont get you booted off the 1320 track then go ahead, for fun runs ok but if i was at risk of being dq because of condensation no go, plus you still need enough hx tank capacity to do waterbox and the run.
I do like this option for a street car though, and looking forward to results with a local whippled SS running this kit.

We did months of R&D in 16 on our test car 12lb boost LSA SS Sedan and 1/4mi HPT log is avalable. No reservoir, no H/E, 4.5gpm flow, just cut LSA hoses and Chiller with under hood intake. 54Deg IAT staging top the ¼ 112deg and back to 54deg before you get off the track.
Same car at a drive through, high temp is sensor in air filter low temp is intercooler coolant. So that is over 100deg off at idle.
No loss of cabin AC performance, while the air temperature is 40deg lasers don’t work on air the plastic vent is 29deg.
100deg off intake temperature with under hood intake while at a drive through!

Just to clarify IAT temps are dependent on conditions, below freezing IAT pictures are like in the morning when its 55deg out, 55deg IAT is much more common when its 98 out. Same results you see with your AC, if AC is very efficient then Chiller is too.

Hmmm, I really like this setup or so i think i would! I'm going to research and price a W2A setup to see what the additional cost would be over say the Trick 5" race intercooler kit for like $1200. Not sure how much extra I'm willing to spend for this but for some reason I want to go this route.
Someone in Tx,La, or another southern state, put this on their turbo truck so i can see how well it works in our 100+* summer days! lol

I would not be using the holley w/ 417 intercooler. Not interested in the addition cost vs just adding a remote W2A intercooler using stock intake. After more research on the ctsv forums, I believe that this would work great for me. I always have the a/c on. I just need to research W2A setups for our trucks. So i need reservoir tank w/ pump, W2A intercooler, & H/E. With mine being a turbo setup and starting from scratch on the cold side, are there any specifics that i need to know about? Such as cooling fitting sizes, position of W2A intercooler, position of interchiller, ect.

You will need to match the core to your hp goals.
Tank, good pump, 3/4" hoses, large HX.
Don't do a tiny hx.
The a/w ic can go anywhere. Wont matter it's a closed loop.
HX needs to be in the front behind the grill for maximum air flow.
Tank a couple of gallons capacity or more depending on plans. And needs to be the highest point in the system. We offer a couple of different tanks for different locations.
Guessing 500-1200 bucks here. Depending on parts purchased.
Then add in the ac chiller stuff.
